We were sceptical coming in and as the first delays grew but the ESWC has done a fantastic job today. The tournament has been running smoothly and will finish on time.

SK is finally live here at this tournament - they are currently playing eSTRO and the score is tied at 3 a piece. SK will play all their three matches back to back.

Unlikely x3o win sets group C aflame:

Singlecoil: - Could turn into one of those

x3o's 16-14 win over MTW inserts a sliver of excitement into an otherwise boring group. Gotfrag's assistant editor in chief Mark "Singlecoil" Turner comments:

"- This could turn into one of those three-way-ties."

For that to happen x3o has to beat MoB and MTW has to beat MYM. If MYM beats MTW and x3o beats MoB the American and Polish team progress to the play offs.

If MTW and x3o wins their matches the second seed from group C will be the team with the more positive difference between rounds won, and rounds lost

Status before the matches:

x3o is at - 4. MTW is at + 7. MYM is at + 16. MoB is - 17

For x3o to move on from a three way tie MTW has to win by 16 to 14 while the American's blow their rivals completely out of the water by a 16 to 2 margin. Naturally, if x3o wins and MTW loses, the Danish powerhouse is eliminated.

We are playing "Proud to be an American" (refer to Youtube) to celebrate x3o's unlikely victory. Gotfrag editor in chief Mark Cheben is beside himself. God bless the USA.

The biggest upset thus far. American x3o beat MTW from Denmark by 16 to 14 rounds.

The hometown honeys are still alive. x3o got their 14th and 15th round on de_train from inspired play. They have a roaring fourty man crowd behind them now.

Can they derail the Danish powerhouse?
