Spawn's medical situation:

Tentpole: - We have time

SK player Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund is unsure when SK's matches in the second group stage will start now that "Spawn" has been sent to the hospital following a medical inccident he experienced in the tournament area here in San Jose.

"- They (ESWC) will probably delay our matches some," he said. According to Nordlund the organization has been informed and has agreed to give SK some time to get Mohamed back to the tournament area.

"- Otherwise we would have to forfeit, or play with four players," he said. Team leader Wallenberg is apparantly at their hotel while "RobbaN" and "allen" are warming up on their computers with "Tentpole" to prepare for group phase two.

"- He didn't have much to eat or enough to drink throughout the day either," Nordlund said on the probable causes for "Spawn's" condition.

It will undoubtedly be an extremely though challenge for SK to face teams like ROCCAT and eSTRO under the present conditions. SK's match times are now pending further information on "Spawn's" trip to the hospital.

Spawn's medical situation:

Tentpole: - He'll be fine

In what must be considered the biggest story so far at ESWC Abdisamad "Spawn" Mohamed has been sent to the hospital for a medical check after experiencing medical problems inside the tournament area.

The 22 year old star was seen getting his blood pressure taken. Team captain Dennis "walle" Wallenberg went to the team's hotel, presumably to greet Mohamed when he comes back.

Team mate Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund offered reassurances to SK's fans.

"- They will check him out at the hospital, but he was feeling better already," he said. When asked if Mohamed would be able to play, Nordlund said "- Yes, he'll play."

Breaking news:

Spawn sent to the hospital

Apparantly SK star Abdisamad "Spawn" Mohamed is suffering some kind of medical condition.

The Counter-Strike legend was sitting in the tournament area with paramedics and very concerned team mates looking on. According to Dennis "walle" Wallenberg, Mohamad has respitory problems.

"- He said he can't breathe right," Wallenberg said. Wallenberg added that Mohamad was sent to the hospital to get checked out but at his condition is not believed to be threatening to his general health - or his participation in this tournament. Nonetheless this could spell disaster for a very able SK team.

It is hard to get solid information regarding "Spawn's" condition. The Swedish star was given oxygen as his blood pressure was checked by the medical crew.

Gotta hand it to ESWC - they finished the first group stage in 3 hours. Their schedule will actually hold up despite it looking crazy from the offset.
