...and in our second upset the Russian / Ukrainian combo proved too much for last year's champions MYM. Pro 100 Virtus won by 16 to 12 after an incredible CT half by "LeX" who ended up with 28 - 5. He seemed completely unfazed by the whopping individual performance he just put up. Wow.

It was difficult to get a cheering image of Attax but here they are during the final round against Fnatic; Approx, Moon and Roman here right to left.

Alternate pushed their match to game point pretty early but then, as you often see, they struggled to close the match. Fnatic gained confidence and it came down to the wire in the end but the German's won it - causing the first upset of the tournament.

Virtus fought back to get 7 rounds on offense against MYM. ATTAX got 9 to 6 against Fnatic on the CT side of de_train, and they won their pistol round as T. Screaming from the Russian camp as they just took the pistol round on the second half against MYM.

This just might give us two interesting results.

Swedish super star Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg just won a one on four situation against Alternate ATTAX. IRC is burning up now I bet.

Virtus just won a two on three against MYM. The score in that game is tied at 3 rounds a piece.

Pro100 / Virtus.Pro tried sneaking up the middle on de_inferno but everything went wrong. MYM has taken the lead in their match with the Russian / Ukrainian team.

EG has lost against ROCCAT and Emulate. The American team that impressed many with stellar play at Kode 5 are now eliminated from this tournament, leaving ESWC with one less attraction for the US fans.
