Mousesports breaks SK's heart



In an amazing display of electronic sports fortitude, the German team Mousesport came back from a horrible deficit to defy the odds and knock SK out of ESWC. The Swedish team's ESWC curse continues to haunt them as they go home disappointed again.

SK's half time score on de_inferno was an overwhelming 12 to 3 - and as terrorist to boot - but they could not close out the match as Mousesports' confidence grew with each round won and in the end they repeated their Extreme Master's 2 feat - where they also eliminated SK by the smallest possible margin, 16-14.

Youngster "Gob b" was the big star in the defining half. "Gob b" had his debut on the international stage only last year and is turning into a full-fledged superstar. He came up big with over twenty frags as Mousesports clawed their way into a semi final match with MYM set to begin later today.

Forums are bound to explode with speculation now as Swedish superstar "zet", former brother in arms of "SpawN", "walle" and "RobbaN", has been waiting, seemingly in the wings to take a spot with a world-class Swedish team. Getting knocked out in the quarter final is not acceptable for an organization of SK's status and a head or two might roll following this heartbreaking defeat, despite the extremely close call on stage here in San Jose.

SK looked poised to take their quarter final after a strong terrorist half against Mousesports - but the Germans refuse to yield. They have fought back for a score of 13 - 11 for the Swedish behemoth.

MYM is overwhelming Emulate right now. The Polish team is up 12 to 1 while Mousesports has decreased SK's lead to 12 to 9 points.

Mousesports won the pistol, which they had to to stand a fighting chance. Still, they have to get a ton of terrorist rounds on one of the best teams in the world to come back in their quarter final match.
