MYM and Emulate's tie breaker will be de_nuke - they are going live shortly. SK and Mousesports' is de_inferno.

Mousesports forced a tie breaker, beating SK 16-13 on de_dust2. MYM official took de_train, Emulate could not survive the two round penalty they were given.

"- Damn, that's good."

Fnatic's captain Patrik "carn" Sättermon jumps up, screaming in Swedish as his team beat MTW 16-7 to advance in the tournament. Fnatic and eSTRO are the two qualified teams thus far.

Fnatic's 10 rounds as CT on de_nuke has turned into 15 following a pistol round win. Their manager Sam Matthews was extremely nervous during the first game point, despite his team's seemingly safe lead.

How do you feel right now?

"- ...like I could shit a brick," he said to the delight of the onlookers.

Mousesports refuses to be the second German team to go quietly into the night in the quarter finals, they have fought back on the second map, de_dust2. They are currently sitting at map point with a score of 15 to 12 as counter-terrorists.

This gives them some good opportunities to take the map. Can they seal the deal against SK's merited line-up?

The Emulate - MYM controversy:

Tournament area aflame

Enraged Emulate players re-paused their game with MYM. According to MYM's manager the admins decided that two rounds would be deducted from Emulate's total match score on the current map, de_train, as a penalty for the French player's pausing, and unpausing the game in the first half.

"- We will complain if we don't win this half," MYM's manager said.

"- Two rounds deducted is not sufficient penalty bearing the consequences of what happened."

MYM's "Neo" stated earlier that this caused MYM to lose the round in question as well as the two next rounds.

Apparantly Emulate was told of this decision while fighting an on fire Polish team. They decided to pause the game AGAIN to discuss with the admins. The discussion turned into a heated argument where one admin was sandwitched in between five French players with "Harts" being the more vocal of the five.

At press time it looks like the admin's initial call, of deducting two rounds, will hold up but they are still fighting. It seems like a tie breaker will be needed as MYM looks poised to win de_train regardless of the outcome of this debacle.

Fnatic are up 10 to 5 against MTW at half time on de_nuke. Mousesports is leading 11 to 7 on de_dust2 against SK and has to win the map to tie the game.

12:15 - bsl

The controvercy between MYM and Emulate has currently stopped the match at the score of 7 to 6 for MYM in the second half. Stay tuned for an update in a few minutes.

Controversy strikes as MYM fight to survive Emulate:

Neo: - We'll complain

Polish MYM got more than they could handle from Emulate on the first map, de_dust2. The 2007 WCG champions blew the 2006 champions off the board by 16-3. As the Polish team was trying to regain their footing on de_train controvercy struck.

"- They paused the match in the middle of a round, and we lost it because of that," Polish star Filip "Neo" Kubski said.

"- That loss forced us to do TWO save rounds and ruined our economy."

Consequently Emulate's score at the end of the first half was 8 rounds, as T - a score that is widely regarded as terrific. MYM's hopes are hanging in the balance, both pending the
outcome of the final half and the complaint.
