The Brazilian team lifted the GameGune trophy earlier this summer, however was far from impressive at ESWC 2008, where it crashed out of the tournament at the second group stage.

Made in Brazil has confirmed the dismissal of three players, Norberto "Lance" Lage, Thiago "btt" Monteiro and Olavo "cky" Napoleão, as well as the team's coach, Alexandre "gAuLeS" Bochi.

Meanwhile, mibr has announced that Raphael "cogu" Camargo, Renato "nak" Nakano and Lincoln "fnx" Lau have all agreed to return to the team where they achieved great success in 2006, winning the ESWC event.

"We did very well at GameGune 2008, but we knew that only we and two-three other teams could win the event," mibr manager Leandro Loiola told GotFrag.com.

"Our goal was ESWC, where we performed below expectations. Being eliminated in the second phase of a competition like ESWC made us rethink our goals for the remainder of 2008 and 2009."

"We first looked at the players that had to join. With cogu, nak and fnx we had won our biggest trophies. Bit had been part of our success for the past two years and he is undoubtedly one of the players that has improved the most during this time. And ton is in great form, he has been very important in decisive games."

It is still unknown whether these three new faces will become permanent additions to the team, having left mibr to join CGS franchise Rio Sinistro in May.

"It is hard to know what will happen from now on," Loiola added. "Our intention is to close a team, and with it win tournaments once again. We are already training for WCG Brazil, which will be in two weeks' time."
