The Swedish star had been linked with a move to SK since his departure from the Complexity CGS roster earlier this summer.

Sundstr�m never made secret of his desire to return to 1.6 competition as soon as possible and Anton Budak, coach of SK Gaming, publicly admitted that a deal for the ex-NiP talent was close at hand.

SK Gaming has now confirmed that Sundstr�m will fill the void left by the departure of Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed, who will take on a different role in the organization.

This decision comes in the wake of the team's poor run at ESWC 2008, where SK crashed out at the Quarter-finals after losing to mousesports.

"Ever since I stopped playing for compLexity I've only had one thought in my mind, playing with my old team mates from NiP," Sundstr�m told SK Gaming's official webpage.

"They have all been playing for SK for a long time now, so for me it was obvious which team I really wanted to join. It is s a great honor to play under SK Gaming, probably the world's most successful multigaming organization."

SK Gaming managing director Andreas "bds" Thorstensson further added: "SK Gaming wants to begin with thanking Abdi for everything he has done for us. Known to many as one of the best players in the history of Counter-Strike, with gold medals in most major tournaments. With this winner instinct and dedication we know that he will succeed what ever he decides to do next.

"We are also very happy to welcome the prodigy Zet. One of the best players who took a break from 1.6 at his peak to focus on Source in CGS. Now back more hungry than ever, and back with his former team mates robban and walle."

The addition of Sundstrom leaves SK Gaming with the following line-up:

yay for zet btw i dont think zets skill isnt at his old level cuz hes not playing with his old friends, he cant always be the one fraggin. Plus zet is reunited with walle they're like the bestest friends soooo we'll see soon enuff :D

playing cs with the people you want to play cs with can make your overall attitude to the game alot better. playing with robban and walle again might spark some massive improvements
