The German player had been a free agent since the disbandment of the hoorai squad earlier this summer following a disappointing EPS season.

He has now been given another chance to represent one of Germany's giants, having previously had a six-month spell at mousesports.

According to the official press-release, Wehrmann will fill the shoes of David "CHEF-KOCH" Nagel, who has now become inactive. Nagel had been linked with the exit door at Alternate for some time, however it was thought that he would only leave the team at the end of the year to focus on his studies.

Although Alternate has confirmed the addition of the ex-OCRANA man, he has not been added to the EPS team as of yet and is thus ineligible to play in tonight's Intel Friday Night Game against hoorai.

"This was a decision made by the team, at the moment there are not many free players in Germany," Andreas "Chicken" Voss, former CEO of Alternate, told GotFrag.com.

"Fleks already proved that he is among the best players in Germany, he had been on our list for several times and we have now finally completed the deal."

Voss added that Nagel may well stay on at Alternate, taking on a role in the organisation or even becoming the team's sixth player.

"It really depends on him - he has all the support he wants from our organisation," Voss noted. "But if he wants to do something different we will also support him in that way."

"He was nearly two and a half years with attax and was always one of our key players - both inside and outside the game. He is a very charismatic person and we would love to see him staying with attax one way or the other."

fleks is amazing, and for the past i cant even remember how long RomanR. and CHEF-KOCH have been by far the 2 weakest players of this team. This is definitely an upgrade imho, now all they need to do is replace RomanR. with their old player roman and they will be incredible :D

fleks is a very good player.

Silver isn't good, he was when he was in AA but now hes not...if only Roman R was roman, this would be a beastly lineup.

At first when I saw the headline I though "O man they are replacing RomanR already?" then I see it's CHEF-KOCH that is stepping down ... makes me sad :( He was a great player.

It just seems like they're not giving him any respect. Like they just picked up a ringer to fill in a spot like Chef's which wont be easy. Although i like the pickup of fleks i just wish it had been Roman R. For fleks. so it could be paN-ChefCoch-approx-moon-fleks as i see that being a better lineup. But this should be a good chance for fleks to prove himself

fleks played well for germany a few weeks back, certainly no roman tho... roman must be a difficult personality or something?

Chef-Koch wasn`t kicked by the team. he decided to take a break from cs to focus more on school and work, because in the beginning of 2009 he`ll have his exams. but in an interview on www.fragster.de he said that he still likes to play cs an he will be back in the middle of 2009.

would be a better move adding him to mouz imo.

That means that they would also have made a contract at the end of the season when more Players would be available on the market.

IMPORTANT! What some people seem not to know is, that Alternate is a big Computer Selling Company in germany, and CHEF-KOCH is learning there since over 2 years, and after 3 he has to make the final test to become a real IT Computer Sales Man, so thats why hes focusing on learning at the moment.

In late 2009 he thinks about retourning maybe to the szene.

he had such a good name, oh well gl to them fleks isnt bad

fleks played alot national games with the german team which kinda always had at least 3 attax players init so they know he'll fit in.still i loved watching chef play he isnt the best aimer of all time but he played very smart which was amusing to watch.gl chef and gl attax who knows maybe theyll perform internationally like they have done in the germany for years now.

Sad to see CHEF-KOCH go but fleks is really good, lots of experience with the attax guys with team Germany
