Counter-Strike: WEG to host e-Sports Masters

The World E-Sports Games will hold an invitational gaming event in China later this year.

A new event called World e-Sports Masters' will be held in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province. World e-Sports Masters' hosted by Hangzhou Government and IS Plus Corp, and organized by Hangzhou Sports and Economy Association and JoongAng Entertainment and Sports.

The event, which is due to take place from October 26th - November 2nd, will be played on Counter-Strike: 1.6 and have a total prize purse from 60,000 to 70,000$ USD.

It has also been revealed that World e-Sports MASTERS will feature eight professional Counter-Strike teams and will begin with a group stage, followed by a single-elimination phase.

Danish squad mTw is so far the only team to have been confirmed but GotFrag.com understands that a provisional list of attendees looks as follows:

Because # 18, US teams haven't been as consistent as those other teams lately, and there are no US teams ranked ahead of those teams in the world currently.

"According to the unofficial information, Asia at the tournament they will present eSTRO and wNv.cn. Among the European projects are expected BY SK, fnatic, mouz, MYM yes of mTw.dk. The latter already confirmed their participation. The eighth command, judging by everything, will become Made in Of brazil or EG.usa."
