Counter-Strike: olaY leaves Excello

Team Excello has confirmed the departure of Ola "olaY" Amundsgaard from the Counter-Strike team.
The Norwegian team finished second in the local Extreme Masters qualifier behind oxzyn, having thus secured a spot in Europe's second qualifying round, whose draw will take place later this month.

According to Excello manager Daniel "rage" Andersson, Amundsgaard's complete disregard concerning the squad's training schedule led to him being removed from the line-up.

"OlaY was removed from the team because he did not have time to play, he did not show up for practices and he did not show up for the Extreme Masters qualifying match against oxzyn," Andersson told GotFrag.com.

Andersson further revealed that Tormod "torri" Hetland has been removed from the starting five as he will from now on play the role of the squad's backup player.

These changes leave Excello with an active four-man roster ahead of the crucial Extreme Masters qualifying clash. Andersson noted that the team is looking for new players and even went as far as to say that Kristoffer "kRiZ" Brenn, who had played for Excello during the local EM qualifier, won't be a permanent addition to the team.

"They will be testing some new players soon, kRiZ is not active enough for the team, I believe that if he was, he would be the best option for us, but he isn't - so no."

Excello has now the following line-up:

Norway Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard
Norway Jean-Michael "luddeN" Podroux
Norway Tor "drei" Haugnes
Norway Tommy "syrtekz" Skoglund

Norway Tormod "torri" Hetland (backup)
