Counter-Strike: WEG releases e-Sports Masters list

The World E-Sports Games has confirmed the attendees at the invitational gaming event in China later this year.

The new WEG event - called World e-Sports Masters - is scheduled to take place from October 26th - November 2nd in Hangzhou and will be played on Counter-Strike: 1.6.

The tournament will feature eight professional Counter-Strike teams and begin with a group stage, followed by a single-elimination phase.

As GotFrag.com revealed last month, the likes of Meet Your Makers, fnatic and SK Gaming are on WEG's list for this tournament.

The only addition to the attendees' list comes in the form of Chinese team Dragon, who has been confirmed as the third Asian side on show at the event.

This said, the World e-Sports Masters will have the following teams:

Sweden

Poland

Meet Your Makers
Denmark

mTw

wNv

Dragon

eSTRO

Dragon may surprise serveral teams...who don't take them seriously. wNv, after losing sakula, i really don't know what to expect from them...btw, i really don't think x30 or MoB are ready for higher level of international tournaments...

this is a chinese tournament

of course there are going to never be any usa teams playing in china since coL stomped the chinese fanboys, also, ESWC in USA got all bad american teams so its only fair for a CHINESE tournament to include their 2 best teams, wNv and DRAGON and we all know how amazing chinese teams are in china

They are just mad we got the highest medal count. Or maybe they just dont want another crazy chinese guy stabbing an american family, one of the two... anyways i think that coL should really start practicing 1.6 all day everyday and begin the comeback of straight rollin over all teams.

#6 that's funny because if I remember correctly from ESWC, x3o rolled eSTRO, beat mTw and gave MYM a run for their money

I'm chinese,but i agree to add an American team or a southern American one.
of course,another foreign team will add more cost...............
believe me,DRAGON is not a bad choice.Remember what happen on E-STAR?
they just haven't a good chance to show what they can do.
whatever,the party between the ASIAN TEAMS AND WESTERN TEAMS is definitely expectable.
