Following the breakup of NoPression, four Canadian and one French player combined to form NSU.
In the wake of NoPression's breakup this week, a new Canadian team has formed, North Stars United.

Featuring the likes of WCG Canada 2008 champions, Jean-Sébastien “d00m” Collins, Maxime “Parad1s” Paradis and Philippe “kuby” Auclair of NoPression. The core of the former team will be joined by former teammate Kevin “sKz” O’Connor who commented on being able to play with old friend.

"The chance to re-unite with my friends and teammates is something I'm truly excited about. With the addition of David [Garrido] soon, you can expect to see some great things from us"

Some may recognize the name David "Xp3" Garrido from his fame within the Against All Authority clan of France. Garrido had announced he was soon making a move to Canada and was quick to find a home within the new Northern Stars United team. While still a few weeks away from his permanent move, Garrido will begin practicing online with NSU and will simultaneously continue to compete in EMS and EPS with his current clan D4.

NSU hopes to make a LAN debut at the ESL Global Challenge in Montreal later this year.

Meanwhile, Collins, Paradis, and Auclair will still be attending the WCG World Finals in Cologne, Germany this November with their former teammates in NoPression.
