Week eight action kicks off on Monday at 20.00 with a mouth-watering clash between Team Alternate and pod.hama.

Alternate endured a disappointing start to its EPS campaign but seems to have returned to its old self following the arrival of Martin "fleks" Wehrmann. The new pod.hama squad has so far been unable to replicate the efforts from the previous team and should thus pose little threat to the German WCG representative.

The second game of the night puts TBH.eSports against You Don't Know Me. TBH has not been able to find much consistency this season so it will feel that a game against ydk is the perfect opportunity to move up in the table. As for ydk, the former nWo team is currently in the mid-table places and a win here will allow it to rise back into the top half of the table.

Week eight resumes on Wednesday with an exciting match between a-Losers and hoorai. A-Losers has been far from successful with its teams over the past few years and this one seems to be no exception. It comes into week 8 in a must-win situation to escape the relegation zone, while hoorai, who reached the playoffs last season, has been the biggest disappointment of the season but a return to form could still see it clinching a spot in the finals.

This week's Intel Friday Night Game will see mousesports meeting n!faculty, a clash between last season's winner and runner-up, respectively. Both teams are currently sharing the top of the table along with Alternate and come into this game with big hopes. N!faculty will have the chance to record its 8th win in 8 games against Competo on Tuesday, which would place it three points above mouz. As for mousesports, the defending champion has already tasted defeat in the league and will targeting all three points to secure the top spot of the table.
