Counter-Strike: EvilZone loses CS team

EvilZone has confirmed the departure of the Counter-Strike team.

EvilZone was one of the sides on show at the DreamHack event last month, having crashed out of the WCG qualifier at the group stage, only to defeat SK Gaming and claim the Skellefte� trophy one day later.

The Swedish team has now decided to part ways with the EvilZone management following disagreements between both parties on some key issues.

"Well, to put it simply, we did not agree with the organisation on some things," Bjorn "threat" Pers told GotFrag.com. "There is nothing more to it."

The former EvilZone squad, now known as lanklan, is on the lookout for a new organisation to represent less than a week before its Extreme Masters debut against fnatic.

Lanklan has the following line-up:

According to comments on Fragbite, the breakup was about how much the organisation should split from the prize money, which was how strange it may sound not set before.

and khrystal guy really could explode with the AWP, and get_right is.... well yea I dont really have to explain that one. maybe he can join another top sweedish team and make the sweeds 100% dominant again in CS

sweden has about 4 teams that could compete internationally..SK and fnatic are obvious, give blank a little bit more time and they'll be on par no doubt and this team could definitely upset a few teams at a big event given the chance, hopefully they find a new organization

#9 people don't know much because all we're told is what we hear from gotfrag and sites like this. elaborate if you would like everyone to know more about the situation; i'm sure everyone would like to know.

all of these smaller organizations constantly lose their cs teams, it seems.
