David "DeyF" Arroyo has been confirmed as x6tence's fifth member for the 2008 World Cyber Games. He has now been unveiled as x6tence's fifth player for the World Cyber Games event in Cologne, replacing Jean "wasi" García. The Ecuadorian-born player joined the team in April and played the Spanish WCG qualifier with x6tence; however his application for a permit to play the WCG World Finals was initially denied. García, who has lived in Spain since the age of 11, won't become a Spanish national citizen until December, which is why International Cyber Marketing (ICM), the global organizer of the WCG events, told x6tence after the qualifier that García was ineligible to play in Cologne. ![]() "x6tence called me and I answered its call," Arroyo told the team's webpage. "I am very proud to wear this shirt again and I will do it the best way I can." "I am not going to claim anyone's spot, wasi is an amazing player with an incredible future and he will grow up in this team as a player and a person." x6tence has been drawn in Group G and will go head-to-head with the likes of Putb and eSport-Eu in the opening phase. The team will attend the WCG Finals with the following line-up: Antonio "FlipiN" Rivas David "r1bera" Antón Adrián "sioK" Rodríguez Daniel "furby" Luna David "DeyF" Arroyo |
