Counter-Strike: eXplosive lands Damage

By: Luis Mira - Published October 09, 2008 at 9:38 AM EDT - Writer Archive
eXplosive has confirmed the addition of Dmitriy "Damage" Morozov to the Counter-Strike line-up.
Morozov has earned a permanent spot at eXplosive following an impressive short-trial spell with the team.

The former csc.Arena member will have to chance to prove himself at international level after eXplosive managed to secure a spot in Extreme Masters' group stage.

He has been confirmed as a direct replacement for Sergey "lmbt" Beganov - who has been shown the exit door at the team.

"At the core of the changes is a misunderstanding between the team, which caused the conflict situation and resulted in this decision," eXplosive manager Anton "wh1m" Shlapack told GotFrag.com.

"Damage played before for DefDumps, csc.Arena and few week on trial for eXplosive, he proved to be a good player at csc.Arena and we all know him very well, so this was an easy decision to make."

eXplosive was drawn in Extreme Masters' Group D, having to take on the likes of emuLate, Blank and mTw. The team's debut will be against Ledpc on October 16th.

The arrival of Morozov has turned eXplosive into a five-man roster that looks as follows:

Ukraine Amiran "aMi" Rehviashvili
Ukraine Taras "craft1k" Voytenko
Ukraine Alexander "isna" Zelenskiy
Ukraine Vadim "vad1k" Belousko
Ukraine Dmitriy "Damage" Morozov
