The Finnish team was expected to participate in the Inferno Online League Season 1 Finals taking place in Stockholm, having even been drawn in group D.

However, it has now been reported that 4Kings will not attend the event after the organisation refused to send the team to Sweden, a decision which has made the squad leave the UK-based home.

"Originally we were supposed to go to IOL and ESL Dubai this month, but after Kuppi left we agreed that if performed well at IOL we would be sent to Dubai," Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen told GotFrag.com.

"So we practiced a lot and bootcamped last weekend to be ready but yesterday Toby (4Kings' manager) decided it wasn't worth sending us to IOL because of the small prize purse and the lack of good teams participating."

"He added that we could go to dreamhack two months from now but we were obviously not going to wait that much time before going to a tournament, we had already been playing with this team for like two months online."

The team is now without an organisation to represent, with Kovanen conceding that the squad's future looks very uncertain.

"I still enjoy playing but I don't know about some of the other players' motivation," he noted. "But we will still finish the EPS qualifier and then we will see what happens."

I really don't think management is at fault here, it seems to me that the Fins have got a little big for their boots here...a 1.6 squad representing a proffesional gaming organisation have shown that they are nothing more than liabilities and a liability im sure 4kings are glad to have lost imo.

4kings took a stupid decision at first anyways.. elements team was free to be recruited shud have gone with them, big players big names and possibly cud have done some damage if 4kings know what they are doing they shud pick up lanklan asap.

The reason i use GF is to achieve 4 nerd stars and look E-cool.
