Counter-Strike: project08 disqualified from KODE5 France

KODE5 has confirmed that project08 has been disqualified from the French Regional Final for cheating in the online qualifier.

The German team had originally secured one of the four spots for the French Regional Final after finishing in second place in the online qualifier, which took place last Saturday.

However, after carefully reviewing the tournament's demos, Orgalan, the organiser of the online qualifier, has decided to disqualify project08.

"We would like to apologize to the community and to the participating teams in this qualifier for the error made during the tournament," Orgalan said.

"In fact, one of our admins had little time and few means to clarify the situation instantly.

"After checking the demos thoroughly, we can say that the Germans used illicit means to win their matches."

According to the official announcement, the last spot will be decided through a match between emuLate and BLOODWAVE.1w.

This said, the final standings of the French KODE5 qualifier are now as follows:

Against All Authority
4. France

Hilarious.The fact that we are german has to be concerned ofc because all germans hack and are bold.How dare we beating the crap out of the invincible emulate and aAa.I'd like to thank the french counterstrike scene as well as the german readmore forum experts who made this possible.We are so grateful for all the feedback and the astonishing support.THANKS ALOT THANKS

Actually the problem now is that every french player will accuse the german team who beat them of cheating :(
French and german community don't like each other and this kind of accident won't fix up this problem

Did not see anything in there maybe the demo will clarify more... I really do not understand how some of the people here think it is blatant just by watching a movie. Under different circumstances and without the wh on you would all say skill or something.

#44 caus they were the only 2 teams that project08 beat, that havent already qualified. No other teams would have really been affected by this at all (unless the top4 results at the online qual are used as seedings, in which case aAa should rematch)
