Dignitas and Team Norway will be fancying their chances of occupying the top two spots in Group B. One reason to stay tuned to this World Cyber Games (if you still needed one) is in this group and is called Ola "elemeNt" Moum. The former eoLithic star, who has been out of action since leaving MYM more than a year ago, has put together a quite interesting line-up for this tournament. I do not see Norway finishing top of its group for a reason: WCG will be this team's first big international event and it is unknown whether it has been practicing hard for Cologne. Norway's form is a big question mark but with Moum as a captain, one can always look to big things from this squad. Only a few expected Dignitas to get past the group stage in Dubai so it did not come as a shock when it placed third of its group, behind mTw and Made in Brazil. Nonetheless, the UK-based squad performed better than many had predicted, holding mTw to a draw and losing to Made in Brazil 17-13. The WCG event comes to Dignitas as the perfect opportunity for it to establish itself as a permanent figure in the European elite. The Greek squad Vatos Locos failed to impress at the ESWC event, finishing rock-bottom of its group without a single point. Despite this poor run, VL has showed that it may not be taken lightly, having shocked mTw at SEC last year. Australia's last international appearance was at WCG 2007 when it was represented by Sequential Gaming. In Seattle, SQL could not do more than a fourth-place finish in its group, behind NoA, emuLate and k23. Now, represented by Immunity, Australia wants to do big things abroad, something it has not experienced in a long time. With a roster that features veteran Fergus "ferg" Stephenson, Immunity will hope for better in the old continent. The Portuguese team Defining Stars comes once again to an international event without big hopes - anything better than finishing last of its group can be called good. The team definitely has some quality material but it should not be enough to pose any major threat to most of the teams in Group B. The team coming from Georgia, Spinin, will attend a big event for the first time and will be doing everything in its power to upset one of the big names. GotFrag.com's Top 6 prediction: 1. Dignitas2.
