Counter-Strike: wNv duo retires

NiceZ.com understands that Bian "alex" Zhengwei and Luo "K|ng'Z" Likan have decided to retire from gaming.

This shocking decision comes in the wake of the team's disappointing campaign at the World e-Sports Masters in China - where wNv finished last of its group without a single point.

The Chinese squad was expected to attend the WCG event next week in Cologne, having been paired with the likes of SK Gaming and The Elder Gods in Group A; however, it has been forced to miss the tournament after seeing its visa application denied.

wNv has now a three-man roster that looks as follows:

Liu "Savage" Bin

Hou "bigun" Hao
China

Chen "ckx" Kaixi

This is the first time i would say that wNv actually NEEDED a lineup change. They need some fragging power. alex has never been that good when it comes to fragging. K|ng'z was one of their better players though. If possible they need to pick up K1ngZ from dragon. He would be able to replace alex nicely. Good leader and very good fragger. I see them picking up 2 players from the chinese CGS team though. They have some good options if they can do this. zy Jungle BB Aqi tK.

they won't get someone from the CGS. first off the CGS contract needs to be terminated by the CGS, and not the player, so they are stuck playing exclusively for the CGS until the end of the year i think... also who in their right mind would give up playing for 30k a year?

#11 mibr, alex, REAL. alex left the cgs to come back to 1.6 since he didnt like source. Any of the CGS players from the Chinese team can join wNv since the wNv managment and the CGS team are linked in some way. Thats how alex got to leave in the 1st place.

alex also terminated his contract in his day to return to the CGS to wNv, I do not think that is the problem,,,

#14 definitely not unexpected their lineup sucked especially w/o sakula.He played an important role at the team being THE fragger.also forever left for health issues.He was a fragger and a planner and he was replaced by alex(who definitely isnt a fragger).About k|ng'z.I never liked him as a player.He always seemed to immature and i didn't feel wNv as a team with this person.

Now about the replacements
i feel that sakula should return and ckx go home
Then i want k1ngz at this team.(he is a planner,good rifler(especially famas),awper and my favorite player so is a smart choice)
and then someone like zy,bb who is a fragger and experienced player.You cant send ckx play against SK having no international experience at all.

so a lineup like this

would be exactly what wNv needs,experience and skill.And i'm sure internationally competitve enough

i honsetly felt like wnv has been somewhat like an obstacle to Chinese CS for the past few years.

there are in fact many good teams in china who have got everything it takes to do really well at international tournatments. but wnv is always the one that takes the slot for international events.

anyway im thrilled to know that wnv has finally vanished into the dark

X7-Hacker/Hacker.GM was the best Chinese team tbh.

#32 wNv.gm - jungle sakula alex tk mikk imo was the best chinese team ever. They won both WEG s3 and masters, but sadly has never proven themselves competitive in international tournaments outside of china.

cant they get aqi and tk back :P

all you need is jungle, the rest doesnt even matter, jungle is the most insane guy around.

definitely the time to retire, poor performance in so many tournament

jungle have been crazying about 'World Of Warcraft' since 2006. Do not expect his comeback.

No steady sponsors in china...You can imagine how bad the enviroment of cs is in China. I dut think any chinese team will come back to top10 in the world :( We won't have any pro teams soon.....So sad...I wish I were a billionaire to sponsor them

jungle ? he had already retired from both cs and css. he is now just a normal wow player in the bar.(without job or income).
Aqi is selling clothes with his girlfriend in Beijing, weg 2006 was just a good dream for us.
