The Brazilian team placed 5th-6th at Extreme Masters Dubai and comes to Cologne with a very hard task, having been drawn in Group C.

Made in Brazil will cross swords with the likes of Meet Your Makers and e-STRO in the group stage, which means that one of three giants will bow out of the tournament in the first day.

Lima stressed that the team's inadequate rest played a major role in the early elimination in Dubai at the hands of mTw.

"We were very tired from all the trips, we almost did not rest so we could not give our best," he told GotFrag.com.

"We started out very well against mTw as T, we won 8-7 but as CT we just could not do anything."

Lima acknowledged Made in Brazil's tough group but stressed that the team will do everything it can to reach the knockout stages.

"We have a very hard group, we will have to face the ESWC's finalists so we are expecting a very hard-fought group," he noted.

"We defeated MYM in Los Angeles on the same map (train) so we are confident to play them again. They just came from China and they are now feeling what we experienced when we had that three-tournament marathon."

"Against e-STRO it will be on de_inferno, the same map we lost to mTw on, we have been practicing it a lot and we really want to win that match, even though we know it is one of their best maps."

When quizzed on his opponents' preparation, Lima added that Made in Brazil is the best prepared team from this trio.

"Made in Brazil is definitely better prepared than MYM and e-STRO, even though there were not many teams to play during WEM because they were all in China.

"We practiced against Norway and the team from Singapore, who was at Inferno Online."

Made in Brazil's debut at WCG 2008 will be against Estonia's representative, sYnck. Lima is confident his team will triumph here but mentioned the previous encounters between these two teams.

"I do not know much about them, I know they beat mibr some years ago when our line-up was different so they must be respected.

"We will try to win with a good result so that things don't get complicated in case of a group tie," he concluded.
