Counter-Strike: MYM v mTw preview

Meet Your Makers and mTw lock horns in the first big clash of the knock-out stages.
Meet Your Makers and mTw come into the Quarter-finals on the back of a 2-0 win over their respective opponents, DTS and eSport-Eu.

The Danish team, who finished runner-up to emuLate last year, didn't have much trouble to overcome the French side on de_inferno, winning 16-8; however, mTw was made to work hard on de_train, winning the match 16-14 after being down 11-4 at the interval.

Meet Your Makers, on the other hand, did not start out well and even lost the first-half 9-6. But the Polish squad, winner of the tournament in 2006, quickly replied and won de_inferno 16-11. De_tuscan was pretty much a one-way street as MYM once conceded three rounds to the Ukrainian side, making it 2-0.

MYM seems to have a slight advantage over mTw here as it managed to survive WCG's group of death, only tasting defeat against e-STRO. Nonetheless, the Polish side proved at WEM just how inconsistent it can be sometimes so the outcome of this match is very unpredictable.
