Counter-Strike: Velloso to mibr: "Win or leave"

Made in Brazil owner Paulo Velloso has expressed his dissatisfaction over the team's poor form.
The Brazilian team confirmed in the first day of September the return of three big names - Raphael "cogu" Camargo, Renato "nak" Nakano and Lincoln "fnx" Lau -, a move that left many wondering whether the new mibr line-up could mount a serious challenge in the main international events.

After a second-place finish at Extreme Masters LA, Made in Brazil placed third in Montreal and 5th-6th in Dubai.

The WCG event in Cologne was mibr's big chance to redeem itself for the latest results but the team crashed out of the tournament at the group stage after being paired with e-STRO and Meet Your Makers.

Velloso did not hide his unhappiness over mibr's lack of good results in what seems to be an open letter published on the team's website, having noted that "something must be done."

"You can't just look the other way when the best team in the world loses to any other team and not do anything," he told mibr's official website.

"We gave this line-up all the conditions to be champion. And what did the players do? They stayed at Inferno-Online playing Deathmatch? Why not study their opponents, who had already been drawn and on the maps that had already been picked?"

Made in Brazil's next events will be the Extreme Masters' American Continental Finals, to take place from November 21st-23rd at the VGXpo Gaming Expo in Philadelphia and the DreamHack WGT event, which will be held from November 27th-30th.

Velloso even goes as far as to say that, if the team does not win these two tournaments, then drastic measures will be taken.

"Well, we just have to believe in who was once champion. KIKOOOO is in charge! He gets to choose who stays and who leaves the team. Let's see KIKOOO! We have Extreme Masters in Philadelphia and then Dreamhack in Sweden.

"Win or win, you get to choose, it's all your responsibility. Good luck."
