The Danish organisation announced on Friday the release of longtime member Lukas "LUq" Wnek, a move that came in the wake of the team's 5th-8th placing at the World Cyber Games.

However, MYM has now confirmed not only the return of Wnek to the Counter-Strike team but also the addition of former Frag eXecutors man Filip "pionas" Pionka.

The player to make room for Pionka is Jakub kuben" Gurczyński, who had been part of the Polish giant since July 2006. With Pentagram/Meet Your Makers, Gurczyński won back-to-back ESWC titles in 2007-08, as well as the WCG title in 2006.

Lukas Wnek: Back to MYM

"In our attempt to find the reasons behind our bad results, and lack of team spirit outside the game, we took a hasty decision and removed Lukas last Friday," a statement on the team's website reads.

"After cooling down, we have thought the situation over once again, and we feel that Lukas can bring more to the table than Jakub can.

"To replace kuben we have taken in pionas, and we feel that he brings with him a thirst, commitment and a hunger that can motivate us even more."

Pionka's first international appearance for Meet Your Makers will be at DreamHack Winter WGT, which is due to take place from November 27th-30th.

I hope they suck from now on and never win again. You cant fcuk with players like that. I bet kuben thought he was safe, only to get cut a few days later. Oh well. Lets see how well pionas performs. I agree that LUq should be on the team, but they shouldnt of cut him in the 1st place.

yes removing a player that wants to go inactive{spawn} and replacing him with a top5 player in the world at the time is the same as kicking 1 guy then bringing him back only to kick another player and bring in an unknown new guy. yea thats the same thing #16 exact same.

It was the team's decision, not the organization's. Recently Kuben played really poorly, he missed easy shots, screwed up their whole defense as CT on train... I'm not saying he's a bad player - he is great. But not as good as the other 4 in MyM (at least in the last several months). Hard to say if Pionas is the right choice - time will tell. I'm just glad LUq is back, because in my opinion he is easily top5 AWPer in the world. They would really regret loosing him.
