The Canadian team had been drawn in Group A, where it would go head-to-head with Gravitas Gaming, MoB Gaming and Evil Geniuses' U.S. squad.

However, Evil Geniuses has confirmed that its Canadian roster won't attend the American Continental Finals, to take place this weekend at Video Game Expo in Philadelphia.

Group A is now one team short, with the ESL confirming that EG.ca's replacement will soon be announced.
