On de_dust2, mTw - starting as CT - got off to a dream start and even enjoyed an early seven-round lead over SK Gaming. The Swedish side managed to respond, though late in the first-half, so the teams went into half-time with 12-3 in favour of the Danish squad.

As T, mTw started out better once again, taking the opening three rounds. The WCG winner was now just one round away from winning the first map but SK engaged on a seven-round streak to keep its hopes alives. However, it was just too much to come back from and so mTw won the first map 16-10.

Next, it was de_inferno. Playing as Terrorist, mTw started out the brighter once again, winning the pistol round and the following two rounds. But SK quickly responded and battled bravely on defence as it took the game to half-time with 10-5 in its favour.

The second-half would bring something new as SK won a pistol round for the first time in this final. SK was now ahead 13-5 and things did not look good for mTw. The rest of the second-half would just be more of the same as mTw could not win a single round, taking the decision to de_nuke.

SK Gaming, playing as CT, made a good start to the third map, taking the opening five rounds. mTw was rarely able to get inside the bombsites as SK's defence was proving to be almost like the Great Wall of China. The Danish side would only be able to respond properly twelve rounds into the game, making it 11-4 at the interval.

mTw knew it had a mountain to climb but that did not keep it from trying to get back into the game. The Danish team started out well, claiming the first three rounds before watching SK take the next three. It looked as though the trophy was just within touching distance for SK but mTw managed to recover to take the game to overtime.

The overtime was very close but in the end SK won with 22-20 on the scoreboard. SK has now taken revenge on mTw for the WCG defeat and will take home the first prize of 9,800€.
