The Electronic Sports League has announced that the European Continental Finals will be held at CeBIT in Hannover.
The ESL had announced that the European Extreme Masters Finals would take place in Hamburg, Germany, from February 13th-15th.

However, it has now been confirmed that the tournament has been moved to Hannover and will be held during the first three days of CeBIT, the world's largest computer exposition, from March 3rd-5th.

Extreme Masters Europe will still have a prize purse of $80,000 and reward a total of seven teams with a spot in the Global Finals, which will begin on March 6th and end two days later.

This change gives CeBIT a total prize purse of 280,000$, the highest per game ever seen, according to the organisation.

SK Gaming and mTw are so far the only teams to have secured a place in the European Finals, while Made in Brazil, Gravitas Gaming and x3o are all through to the Global Finals.

Stay tuned to GotFrag.com as we will bring you all the action from CeBIT and Extreme Masters III.
