makeSHIFT Gaming has picked up an impressive roster for 2009 and CS 1.6. The roster and team changes continue with the coming of the new year and the demise of the CGS. Several teams being formed are resembling all star lineups and this one is no exception. With the likes of mOE and CS veteran supply, this team will be interesting to watch to see how the players from different versions of the game fair against one another.

The following is the official press release from makeSHIFT Gaming:

Los Angeles, California � December 30, 2008 � makeSHIFT Gaming, one of North America's upcoming eSports Organizations is pleased to announce the acquisition of new players for the 2009 CEVO season, LAN circuit and ESL-Online.

About 2 months ago, makeSHIFT Gaming announced the pickup of a new team, and made a public statement with the plans to overcome all of the community doubt, and take 2009 by storm. After the Championship Gaming Series decided to close shop, a lot of counter-strike source players were looking for a new home, even if that meant meshing with some new blood on the scene. That is what has brought counter-strike veteran, Moe "mOE" Assad from teams such as Powersgaming, EFG and OPTX over to the team. Along with Jimmy "nikoN" Pike, and 1.6 legend... Peter "supply" Lee, this team is looking to make serious moves in 2009.

"We just want to thank makeSHIFT's Management and Staff, for keeping us comfortable and making sure we have some money rolling in monthly, because that just makes it a lot easier to be hungry and keep that hunger inside of you." says team leader, Scott "crimz" Yates It's hard to believe such a new organization can come this far so fast, but being able to compensate us for our team and hard work is something that proves that cs is on the rise again, and that makeSHIFT is here to stay. We're looking forward to playing for makeSHIFT and representing their brand to the fullest."

Moe played on 2g0d and they were a horrible premier team. They took the spot to CAL-Invite source, when teams were given the option to do so. I am not sure how a retired player like Lee and 2 players who haven't played 1.6 in 2-3+yrs, + a known online cs team make gotfrag news.

supply and moe claimed they only joined because they are getting paid monthly but i HIGHLY doubt the rest of the scrubs are getting paid like it was claimed by the scrub, they are still going to fail just as hard as they did at CNC

All you people talkin crap about moe are stupid.. I fragged 1.6 with him back when he was strictly playing source and he was terrible. Now that he has put his focus into 1.6 instead of source he is an absolute game changer and cuts off an entire choke point on maps with his awp play, not to mention he is pretty good with ak/colt too.

Press release looks very similar to Frag Dominant's, with the addition of former EG.usa
