CEVO's Placement Tournament for Season 10 begins on January 4th, and will be running until January 15th. It is shaping up to be quite the competitive tournament for the 25 teams entered, and a solid tournament for fans.

The tournament will utilize the best of three map format, and begin with group play, followed by the top three teams from each group moving on to a 16-team double elimination bracket. Seeds will be determined using CEVO's CPI formula.

The placement tournament was instituted in order to keep the teams in the highest division of CEVO as competitive as possible through being accountable for their performances; this season's iteration should be no different, especially with the resurgence of some old faces.

Included in those old faces include the rosters of Something Tasteful, JMC, and To The Dome; each of these teams being favored in some circles to move on from their group and compete for one of the four available positions up for grabs.
