Just when fnatic thought that they might have a decently easy first round draw against the Russian qualifier, DTS stepped up their game and won the event, setting themselves up for a showdown with the current # 1 team in the World.

Now the Ukranians, who had just recently dispatched the likes of virtus.pro, tp.uSports, and forZe to claim the final spot at the Grand Finals, will need to bring their game to a whole new level if they want to dispose of a Swedish team that has seen very few losses in the last couple of months.

Skill wise it would seem that fnatic has everything covered. GeT_RiGhT and f0rest have been shooting everything in sight as soon as they come onto the screen, and if they somehow miss someone, gux has been right there to do the clean up work. If that wasn't enough though, carn and dsn are two of the most experienced and intelligent players in the game and have been complimenting their fraggers very well. With that said though, the superb aim of fnatic might not be enough when they have to face off against one of Eastern Europes most exciting and talented players.

Last year markeloff made a name for himself by dazzling fans with his stellar aim and strong defensive skills, earning him a placing on a short list of truly great young CS players. Now he, along with the rest of DTS, are going to have to give it everything they have if they want to phase the rampaging fnatic.

The key for the Ukrainians will be to play the solid defense they are known for and get their frags before fnatic has a chance to size them up and put them down. If they can force fnatic to alter their strats and improvise late in the round, DTS should be able to pull away with quite a few rounds. If they make a single mistake however, fnatic will be right there to make them pay for it and end this bo3 before it gets started.

The best bet would be to stick with fnatic to take this in two matches as they are currently the hottest team in the game. Still, to say that DTS is going to be a cake walk would be a bold statement. Look for some of the most skilled fraggers in the game go for each others throats in this very exciting first round match up.
