Group A

After having placed 2nd at both KODE5 and ESWC Masters, SK will be hungry for a first place finish at Dreamhack. Without fnatic at this tournament, it seems likely SK will out-wit the rest of the competition. In the end, for SK it will likely come down to which maps are being played against the different opponents. If previous tournaments are any indicator, SK's dust2 and inferno could use some improvement as SK has shown poor performances on these maps lately. Both nuke and train, however, have become very solid maps for SK. Expect them to sweep through early group play, even though it is likely to be the hardest group at the event. The only possible hiccup may be their mental stamina against teams such as SoA and Millenium. They must play as though they are the better team to come out on top of the competition. Look for SK to go far in this tournament as they are favorites to win.

Having taken out all other French competition at the DH Qualifier in Paris, Millennium has shown that they are at the same level as emuLate, a team that has done damage on the international scene. Even though they have proven to be the best French competitor, do not expect too much from Millennium. While they may have some success against the lesser known Swedish teams, do not expect them to put up much against those teams with more international experience. This team will have to fight to make it out of group play as being in Group A will hurt them. To make it out of group play they're going to have to take out SoA or SK early, which will likely be the biggest challenge. Should they succeed, expect them to fall out of bracket play in the quarterfinals.

Having taken on all challengers in Denmark, which disappointingly did not include mTw, SoA was able to grab the Danish Qualifier spot. Only a few days after they won the qualifier however, the roster was changed to add Martin "woodi" Holm to their lineup. While they believe this will improve their game play, it's hard to predict a better chance at Dreamhack. The team has had ample time to boot camp with their new player but it may have an impact on their overall placing. It is probable to see SoA making it out of group play and falling short in the quarterfinals, however, don't be too surprised to SoA possibly being knocked out in group play by Millennium.

#3 Millenium too. The day they'll perform as well internationally as they do in France against emL, eE, iG or d4, and SIXER & MAJ3R (the less experienced players of the team) will play at their true level, they'll do some very serious damage. The fact is they have never played up to their true strength in international events, but they will one day. And it could very well be tomorrow and the day after tomorrow...

QUOTE:
the four final slots for the pro tournament will most likely go to SPEEDLINK, Esport-EU, Warlords, and Delta Esports.

Speedlink don't have a CS team other than their female one who are attending. Doubt they will do as good as Pink Zinic would but I doubt either of them will qualify although I could be wrong.
