After news of his addition to the compLexity roster, GotFrag interviews Scott "evolution" Cavallero
GotFrag.com - GotFrag sits down with Scott "evolution" Cavallero to talk with him about his new team compLexity, and the upcoming summer LAN events.

GotFrag: Thanks for taking the time to do this, may you introduce yourself to the readers out there who may not know who you are along with a list of some previous teams.
evolution: My name is Scott 'evolution' Cavallero and in the past two years I have played for Team EG, eMg, as well as MoB Gaming to name a few.

GotFrag: After your time with EG you seemed to have not be as dedicated, or as apparent in the scene, what have you been up to since then?
evolution: After EG my motivation really wasn't there, I was busy with work or school and had just recently moved to Florida in the past 2 months. During this time period it was really difficult to become motivated for any teams where you don't have complete confidence as I did with teams in the previous years.

GotFrag: Now that you're back on a big name team, compLexity, how do you think you'll be able to perform internationally, as well as in the US?
evolution: I have nothing but the utmost confidence in my team and I sincerely believe that we have the potential to do extremely well both nationally, as well as internationally.

GotFrag: JaX has informed us you'll be living with the team, how do you think that will help you all perform, do you think that much time together will make you stronger, or do you think it might make people burn out faster?
evolution: It will absolutely help us build team chemistry at an accelerated rate and will only benefit all of our games in all aspects. Not only does living together help our chemistry ingame, but out of game as well as we will become better friends from being able to spend time together.

GotFrag: Historically it's been rumored you're somewhat of a hot-head, especially during online play, do you think with your new teammates and management crew that those rumors are a thing of the past?
evolution: Absolutely, a lot of my frustration grew from the fact I saw the team not going anywhere. But as I stated I have complete confidence in my team and am ready to put everything I have into helping the compLexity name succeed.

GotFrag: Traditionally you have been the main AWP player on your team, will that be the case with coL, or will hero continue to AWP primarily?
evolution: Jeff will continue to be the primary awper and I personally would not feel right tampering with the formula the team has used to succeed. I am going to reserve my awp for utility and mid round situations as needed.

GotFrag: With all the upcoming LAN Tournaments, which team are you looking forward to playing the most with this new roster?
evolution: Definitely EG as I know it's been a good rivalry in these past months and I am excited to become a part of it.

GotFrag: As WCG USA finals approach how will the team prepare for this tournament that holds the qualifier spot to the last big tournament of the year, WCG 2009 Global Finals?
evolution: Well just living together is preparation in itself, as well as the numerous other tournaments we have upcoming before the USA Finals. We'll have plenty of events to make sure we are fully prepared by that time.

GotFrag: When is the first tournament where we will be able to see the new coL on LAN?
evolution: ESEA Playoffs is the first guaranteed tournament, however rumors are going around about one possibly before that, I am personally excited for the Complexity Southern Shoot out.

GotFrag: Thank you again for taking time to do this interview, any shoutouts?
evolution: Just a shoutout to my new teammates, as well everyone behind the scenes at compLexity and the sponsors who make a lot of things possible not just for the team but entire community as well.

Stay tuned to GotFrag all summer long as we continue to provide coverage of compLexity and the US CS 1.6 scene!
