Counter-Strike: WCG Sweden announces qualifier

WCG announces its Sweden Qualifier

GotFrag.com - The WCG has announced its Swedish qualifying event for the Grand Championship. It will be held in August on the 13th-15th. They have made a few changes to this event, hopefully to make it a bit more interesting.

They have changed the format from two groups to a single elimination best-of-three match up. This means that teams will only have one chance to make it to the finals in China. The WCG will be inviting four teams and the other four will qualify via a pre-qualifier. The team that wins this event will have their travel expenses covered, but the second qualifier will have to fund themselves to China.

Before this event Fnatic and SK will both be taking part in eStars, so they will be fresh off of LAN play to play in this event. This is sure to be exciting as there is almost always an upset at this event.

i agree with #2 if by SK gaming he means fnatic

fnatic hasnt playted at all in the past month, i dont think they are going to practice much if at all before e-stars, so they said they are using e-stars as like a bootcamp for WCG Sweden.

WCG should be amazing. I cant wait to watch the qualiiers (particularly the Swedish one) and the Grand Finals are always sick.

how do you know what fnatic is doing? they took a break from some tournaments, doesnt mean they havent been scrimming/practicing or at least individually playing

How can you honestly believe SK will take it over fnatic if it just takes get_right and gux and 3 decent players to beat SK.

WCG grand finals should be really good this year since it's really the only BIG thing left from the past!

The matches between SK and Fnatic ,excluding the last one, are always close !

So I can't understand why many people here are - fragging whoever says that SK >Fnatic!

You guys are so influenced by the momentum!

If SK wins this sweden qualifier. I can assure that a lot of people who -fragged who said SK>Fnatic, will - frag who says Fnatic > SK !
