Counter-Strike: GameGune Expands to 26

GameGune announces six more teams, bringing the total participants list up to twenty-six.
GotFrag.com - GameGune once again has added six teams bringing the count up to 26 teams as of July 9, 2009. The total number of teams which will be participating at the event is 32, which means that there are only six more teams due to be announced.

The teams announced today are Russian perennial giants Virtus.pro, Polish middle-tier teams Frag-eXecutors and BenQ DELTAeSPORTS, in addition to three Spanish teams, Wizards, overGame, and newliGht.

GameGune 2009 which is scheduled to take place on July 23-25th in Bilbao, Spain will feature a prize purse of €22,500. While there will be no American teams, nor the top teams of fnatic, SK, and mTw, the event thus far is looking as if it will have some great competition and representation of much of Europe. Stay tuned to GotFrag for more GameGune coverage as the final six participants will be released sometime soon.
