GotFrag.com - After a successful ESEA Invite Season and qualifying for CEVO-P, New York Area LAN Team Dynasty is moving to the Blight Gaming organization.

While Blight Gaming is not known in the CS 1.6 scene, after getting in contact with the team's owner, James "blackfoger" Larsen , it was found out that the organization is big in the Battlefield 2142 and Starwars Battlefront scene, having been registered as an LLC in 2007. Larson also had the following to say when asked about his new team,

"The team approached us, after we talked with a few American teams some didn't seem to have the drive some had to big of ego's, Dynasty seems like the perfect mix of professionalism and drive, which is the one thing we are about. This team can easily be top 3, they just need the right organization and management added to them."

Team leader Cj "cJ_B" Banarsee had the following to say about the team's move,

"After talking to Blight Gaming's owner James for some time, the team and I decided it is the right move for us. We needed an organization to represent and help give us the support to be where we need to be. I see great things in this organization. Although they aren't currently one of the organizations the community is familiar with. It won't be long until their name is recognized. With the financial backing, we will be attending LANs and receiving salaries, it should give us a boost when it comes to putting work in, and help us be where we should be on the standings. We will be attending the upcoming WCG shoot-out and ESEAi playoffs LAN in texas."

When news of the pickup broke, GotFrag also got in contact with Christopher "Projeckt" Costoso in order to find out who the starting five would be for Blight in the upcoming LANs, Costoso was able to give us the scoop, joining the roster in places of mkpro and wrd will be Jasper "sfx" Ko and Don "b33f" Frain. wrd and mkpro will no longer be able to compete with the team due to personal and family issues.

GL to them. Early on in ESEA it seemed like they would have a strong season but they had a lot of roster changes. Hopefully they can keep this 5 solid and play well.

Sure... or the fact that, with the exception of che ,(who wasn't even good outside of N/A... and wasn't anything special in N/A) none of these guys have ever done a single thing in this game that would be worth mentioning.

If I read something on Gotfrag I expect it to be about a team that can actually accomplish something or something big that happened in the 1.6 scene.

This team? This team is your typical east coast team that has nothing going for them and probably will be a mediocre ESEA-i team... which today is saying a whole lot of nothing.

So how about you hop off your e-friends dick (projekt) and realize that you are only backing this team up because you are friends with some of the members.

I don't know anything about their drive but I guarantee you I know how these guys act... and if it's in a professional manner then by god... something is seriously wrong with this community.

The day I see EG/coL doing the things some of these players have done at lan (ie. way they act) is the day I will consider this team "professional"

We did sponsor snailtrail for awile yes and #16 that was old dynasty, now they are alot more professional and are showing good dedication as far as at lans they will have a manager at all their lans events so if they are acting immature we will know about it. Check next week when we make our 1.6 Canada team public they will be attending WCG CA for us.

#21 Esports ingeneral I don't mind it, most people have to act immature on the internet its like they have an obligation some reason.

BGS some of us may not have accomplished anything but isnt that where players start? a team cant just form and be the best. we do have the drive and are gaining new experience every day and with the busy weeks coming ahead i think we can prove ourselves.

#34 they are in front of a team who is inactive and has 14 FF's and another team that is basically a complete pug that has 1 person from the original team with 4 FF loses.. and the other team they are in front of has been 16-0'ed 2 times this season and has no business being in invite.. but im not trying to say that they arent a good team , but your logic is pretty silly

lets not forget that they have 2 forfeit wins and a 5v4 win, they have 2 new players though so it really doesnt matter, and like beef said even though they havent accomplished anything yet it doesnt mean they cant in the future.. good luck to them
