ESEA = CEVO > ESL
Hahahaha, I wonder how much of that has been payed out from last year...I suggest you pay out the teams that earned money last year before trying to offer more. Just my opinion though ;]
ESL>ESEA>CEVO
#9 they owe aZn like 2k and other players that placed at ESL masters as well as online matches.
and then there are the actually physical reasons its bad, because it doesnt value its american leagues and doesn't give good prizes... and then doesn't even pay those prizes out.
and Nick I would love to see those teams (AT LEAST 3 that I kno of ) get there money in the few months left in the year....plz make a GF post when that happens ROFL
Mark you can't say anything because you had no access to Aeq or any other function @ ESL, you had trial access which allowed you to answer tickets and look and team/player pages...
you cant get banned for having cheats on your pc
Yes the prizemoney is delayed, but unlike other leagues the ESL never did not pay out prizemoney at all. All teams always got there money and they will get there prizemoney. All teams can easily contact the Intel Extreme Master Admins over their contacts they got during the tournament and will be kept up-to-date about the pay out.
About the problems of Season 1, ESL America is on casual-amateur level a new field for us, so we have to improve and make adjustments to the scene and country. We are working on it and I can promise that every season will get better then the season before! Also the website adjusting to north american users, when you compare the website know to the website we had when we started in America, I think most will see and feel the improvements.
About our Anti-Cheat Aequitas, as ReverendRevenant already said, it does a lot more then randomnly making screenshots or listing the processes. I won't go into details, because that we don't reveal most of the mechanics behind it, is part of the protection, but we had quite some success with it in Europe and it still is one of the best anti-cheat tools for CS and CSS, but because the ESL is the league with the most prizemoney and most prestigous leagues in the world for CS and CSS it's also the most attacked anti-cheat tool.
Also ESL rules say that you are not allowed to have any cheat on your PC, for whatever reasons. There are a couple CS/CSS cheats that are not even VAC approved that are allowed to be installed, so you can watch demos with them, but they are not stated as cheats, they are mainly called demoview tools.
I hope that this clarifies some misunderstandings and hope the us scene gives us as chance to prove that we know what we are doing. :)
