Held in Bilbao, Spain, GameGune 2009 boasts top teams from across the world in a thirty-two team tournament, with €22,500 at stake.
GotFrag.com - GameGune, held in Bilbao, Spain, is quickly becoming one of the year's most looked forward to events. Thirty-two teams across the world have made the journey to compete for the €22,500 prize pot. Unfortunately, due to conflicting events, this tournament will see no American teams, nor will the juggernauts of fnatic, SK, or mTw be attending. However, teams like WICKED, mouz, emuLate, DTS, and Virtus.pro, more than make up for the lack of the other aforementioned teams.
The tournament will be running a straight forward system, consisting of an initial group stage with eight groups, four teams in each. The top two teams from each group will then advance to a double elimination bracket, where the final victor will be determined.
