Counter-Strike: Arbalet Cup 2010

Arbalet puts themselves on the map, announcing their plans for 2010, including a $100,000 prize purse for their main event.
GotFrag.com - The European tournament organization, Arbalet, released their plans for their 2010 event. Arbalet organizes some of Europe's most prominent events and this upcoming year is packed full of them. They will be holding six events in Moscow, Russia as well as National Tournaments in Russia and he Ukraine. They will also be holding their main event, the Arbalet Cup which will be held in Stockholm, Sweden.

The first of six events in Moscow will be held in February followed by events in April, June, August, October and December. The events will consist of four invited teams from Russia, two invited teams from Ukraine and one invited team from both Belarus and Kazakhstan. The events will produce a prize pool of $25,000 each, with travel and hotel expenses paid in full.

The main event, the Arbalet Cup will consist of the top sixteen teams in the world, including qualifiers from the National events held in Russia and the Ukraine. The Cup will have a massive prize purse of $100,000, marking it on the map as one of Counter-Strike's largest payouts.

This years Arbalet Cup is right around the corner, taking place in Stockholm sometime in the beginning of December. The Cup is filled with some of the worlds best teams, including Evil Geniuses who will representing the United States.
