EG de_inferno defense
Bechdholt/Stevenson
These two will be playing in the B or "banana" bombsite together. They like to start the half off with colts and playing in crossfire positions in the site to start out with. Mid-round Stevenson sets up in a more offensive peaking position while Bechdholt is right there with a flashbang for the second Stevenson spots an enemy. The best idea would be to bait the flashes on these too, because Bechdholt's flash flies as soon as Stevenson fires a bullet.
If these two see that this setup isn't working or Stevenson is feeling lucky it is time to buy an AWP. When Stevenson sets up with an AWP, they have the same mentality of a spot and a flashbang. But also beware of Bechdholt playing side by side with Stevenson for close range coverage with a colt.
Tyndale/Kolach
EG has a very risky setup in which these two are going to be covering the hallway and the left side of the bombsite. They have multiple sneaky setups for cross-firing the left side of Bombsite A. There isn't much to say about their specific play style. They don't use many nades and they rely a lot on their shots and trust in one another. Just take a look at the screen shots.
Lari
Lari has a lot of responsibility on this map, because he is covering the right side of this bombsite and spawn by himself. While playing this position Lari has two different styles of play. The first is with a colt, and the next is with an AWP.
Colt
When using the colt Lari is going to be in one of two places. The first is in the library near spawn. The next is near the staircase in the spawn to hopefully surprise the offense from the rear or take them down as they attempt to take spawn. Just expect Lari to play extremely defensively with his colt.
AWP
When Lari has an AWP expect him to be a lot more offensive. If you see a flashbang come down the middle that means Lari is about to peek on you with an AWP. When he flashes he peaks the small pit near the terrorist slope. If Lari feels he is being overwhelmed he is going to fall back to the right side of middle near his colt area, but he will be peaking the middle in order to spot or slow down a rush.
*Defensive note* Watch for this save round of three in the back hall of Bombsite B with one boosted in a new spot.
EG de_inferno offense
EG's offensive side of this map looks a lot like their dust2 offensive side, with similar splits to train. Look for three different tactics from EG on inferno.
1. Middle
Well the first thing everyone needs to know is that EG will start off each round in a 2-1-2 split. They start by sending two to spot banana pushes, two to spot hallway pushes, and Lari spots the middle. From here the two banana and Lari meet up and walk middle to meet with the two remaining team members on the left. Now they stick in a clump of five and jump out at the same time to throw off an AWP on the left side. From here they like to go to the left side slowly towards the spawn and pick the opponents off. Rather than hitting the spawn they keep it simple and wrap around into the bombsite.
2. 3-2 rush
This is a rush where all five go to the right middle, the first two go into the hallways and the last three go to the middle flashing first then hitting the right side of the bombsite.
3. Banana take over
This is going to be the default 2-1-2 split and then moving over to the banana. If the defense spots any EG player pushed up more than halfway, they are taking this site. When they are ready to hit this site there are smokes all over the entrance, HE grenades over the wall, and flashes coming into the bombsite after being exposed. The best way to stop this would be flashes and peeks on the banana with colts.
