EG de_train defense
Lari/Bechdholt
Lari and Bechdholt hold the inner bombsite.
Lari is going to be using an AWP or an AUG as much as possible to hold long range positions from within the bombsite. He starts off the rounds by taking a quick peek from the Z hall to spot a rush and possibly take out a peeking AWP from the offense. After this he will fall back depending on Bechdholt's position whether he is upper or lower.
Expect to see Lari either on the high ramp or under the far train near spawn to watch the low ramp. These two have a very nice setup where Lari can see the toes of the opponent while Bechdholt is pushed up offensively in the upper hallway.
Tyndale
Tyndale is going to be using his colt and creative style of play to guard the ladder room at close range. Tyndale is likes to head to the ladder room from the five train or bomb train most of the time unless he uses cover from Lari coming out of the Z hall. From here he is going to be on top of the bomb train most of time moving his crosshair back and forth from the middle to the ladder room. If the offense is moving slow Tyndale likes to drop down and move into the ladder room and sit right below it.
Kolach
Kolach plays the middle with a colt and at very close quarters. He likes to come through the five train area leading with a flashbang and playing from different spots around the tower train. From here he can help keep an eye on the ladder room for Tyndale and another eye on the alley to help out Stevenson.
Stevenson
Stevenson really shows that he is an all around player while playing the alley on train. He covers this area with both a colt and an AWP. Expect to see him starting off the half with a colt. While using the colt he likes to play near Kolach on the left side of the alley around the trains to watch the alley. Once he picks up an AWP he will be playing to the right side and falling back to the spawn ramp if he is overpowered by the offense.
EG de_train offense
For EG's offensive side I can only offer one tip of advise...KEEP THE OUTSIDE BOMBSITE FLASHED.
EG has about three different tactics for hitting the outside bombsite on very swift rushes.
1-4
One alley, four middle. The four middle are coming out of here smoking and flashing the alley and the five train. When the middle team mates exit they are heading directly left getting on top of the big ladder train and up the big ladder while picking off as many defensers as possible.
2-3
Two middle, three ladder. The two in middle will be smoking and flashing the Z hall and the five train while the other three are rushing ladder as fast as possible and using a lot of HE grenades on the Z hall by banking them off of the ladder train.
2-1-2
We see this one the most. Two alley, one middle, two ladder quick. The middle player is usually Lari with an AWP, if you see his AWP in middle it is more than likely the 2-1-2. The two in ladder room will be dropping as quickly as possible and distracting the Z hall from Lari's AWP. The last two will be going alley, usually with the bomb, very slowly until the team is ready. From here they smoke the left side of the alley and flash the right while they push up.
If you don't spot these guys within the first few seconds of the round they are hitting inner. They will hold the inside staircase watching for a push and then walking down to take the inner bombsite.
