A Standard Setup: 2 crossfire middle, 1 hallways, 2 B.

1 on the left side of middle, one on the right side of middle, 1 in the halls, 2 in bombsite B. Not much to it.

An Aggressive Setup:

The players in B have a great opportunity to be aggressive against attacking offenses due to the fact that a flash over the wall of bombsite B can blind almost all of the banana hall. One defender flashes over and the other peeks quickly - if they spot some they can fall back, or attempt to get frags, if they please. Most importantly, if they see that the hall is clear, they can push up and do a large variety of boxe stacks in the banana.

A great A bombsite aggressive setup is peeking the middle early with an AWPer in order to pick off attackers coming from under the ladder. After a few rounds, when the offense is scared to come out from under the ladder, the AWPer can be less risky and snipe down to only the small underpass. His teammate, covering the middle or the hallway, then pushes up the right wall and watches the halls and the left side of middle from on top of the AWPer's head.

A Defensive Setup:

United 5 did a great defensive setup against TEC in a recent CAL-I match. In this setup, the CT's covering A play back near the library and CT spawn area, giving up the halls. They will probably get overwhelmed by a full rush middle that heads straight into the bombsite, but from here the CT's know exactly where the offense is going to plant the bomb, they and can spam those boxes and even throw three HE grenades in order to slow the planthing process down. The A players are also already close to the B bombsite players, and this allows for the entire defense team to retake the bombsite at the same time without eating up too much of the bomb timer.

A Miscellaneous Setup:

I saw aTTax do this and it was a great setup for bombsite A. One AWPer snipes the middle from spawn side while the other two take responsibility for covering the hallway and the left side of middle if the AWPer is overwhelmed. This gives our pair of CT's the opportunity to get extremely creative with various cross-fires on the hallways or the left side of middle, as the setup forces the offense to run into the bombsite through the window-side passage.
