This part is just showing pretty much default plant spots. These are all bomb plant spots that are used default by pretty much any team you will ever come across and there are also going to be screens of the expected place that you cover them from. They are usually the quickest and most obvious spot to cover the bomb from, but we also have a couple clutch spots that aren't very expected to play in.
de_dust2 Bombsite A: Planting for Catwalk

Back at ESWC 2003 we saw team 9 do something that teams rarely did back then, and it was planting for catwalk. Now the trick to this bomb plant is that if you have the time and cover, planting it farther away from the bombsite the better. This way when the defense comes to defuse they can't ninja it from behind a box.

From here you can go and watch the catwalk and not focus on long A or spawn at all. You can hear the bomb being defused and then peek on the defuser and use the double stacked boxes for cover once you see him stop defusing. It is an all around great plant, but pretty much a sure fire win in a 1 on 1 situation when played smart.
Bombsite B: Hallway Plant

This is where teams always plant. Why? They can hide in the hallway and the defense has to turn their back to defuse the bomb. Pretty standard.
Clutch Spot:

Now this is a great spot for a 1 on 1 or even while your team is alive. You can watch the halls and it is awesome for a clutch round. Just as mentioned before 99.9% of teams leave a guy in the hallway after the bomb is planted so he can shoot the defuser in the back. Now look at the first screenshot. When a defensman has all of these things rushing through his head as mentioned on the first page he is going to check the common spots first. #1 being the halls and #2 being the knook in the corner. If he checks either of these you are able to shoot him in the back no problem. Now in a 2 on 1 situation I like to let him get all the way over to an angle where someone in the hallway could have shot him in order to not give away my positioning.

Bombsite A: Normal PlantUnfortunately there is nothing special about planting the bomb anywhere on nuke. This is the default spot and in the screens is my favorite 1 on 1 positioning. It is a lot like dust2 where you will always catch the defuser in the back, just be careful not to make any noise outside.

Bombsite B: Back Hall PlantNow this isn't really default at all. See where the bomb is? A lot of teams plant on the other side of it. When I have the bomb I always like to plant it here, because it sets you up great in case the round comes down to a 1 on 1 situation. This puts the defense in a very wide open position where they can't do anything, but get shot if they touch the bomb.

Bombsite A: Hallway PlantThis is the default plant for bombsite A where if a team doesn't plant here, they probably aren't from this planet. This sets you up so you can be the last resort sitting in the halls and pop out when they are defusing. It's good because you can come out looking right at them, but even if they stop the defuse they have to flick their crosshair at a pretty high angle pretty fast to get you.
Clutch spot:

I like this spot a lot. I see my buddy tr1p from compLexity use it a lot for normal bomb cover, but it is also great for a clutch situation. Need proof? Watch shaGuar in the finals match. EYE assumes he is in the hallway and he picks off the first guy, because he is looking up, and then the next two just get headshotted, but you understand the logic behind this spot.
de_trainBombsite A: Default Plant

Look carefully. Plant the bomb here and you can hide pretty much anywhere on the map.
Clutch spot:

Now I've been waiting for more people to use this spot since about 3 or 4 CAL-I seasons ago back when xile was in Rival and I saw him use this spot in a 1 on 1 and win a huge round. It is a great spot to be in a 1 on 1 situation. Look at the screens. Basically the only way you can see the person hiding here is if you stand on top of the bomb train and jump up and down. This is even better for winning a 2 on 1 where his partner will be scouring the bombsite looking for you. Use it, it works.
