Team 3D’s most famous player, Kyle “Ksharp” Miller drags along the newest 3D member, Charlie “cbz” Pyo for some questions about the past and future. Miller talks about what the future brings with his favorite friend in the fold and long time teammate Ognian "Steel" Gueorguiev. Pyo opens up about his time in both u5 and TSG before that along with his comments on the departure of Justin “Sunman” Summy.

Charlie, a lot of things have gone down since Sunman departed; how did you feel about the whole situation and how did it lead up to you leaving u5 and joining 3D?

Now it's Charlie
cBz - Well first of all, I love everyone in u5 and have had a blast playing with them. When sunman left u5 things started getting a bit shaky and we were pretty clueless on what to do because it came out of left field. I was approached about being a prospect for 3D and at the time I was considering it because of the problems internally with u5. As time went on 3D eventually decided to choose me over the other candidates and I said to myself that if u5 hasn't improved X amount by then, not just in game, but attitude wise I would take up this offer.

Kyle, I know that 3D has wanted Charlie to join for a while Kyle, what finally got him to become a part of 3D?

Ksharp - First off, I know Charlie puts a lot of effort into everything he does. That determination is what led us to him because everyone on our team takes that same sort of attitude towards the game. We were in the market for another player and his personality and skills fit the team quite well.

Charlie, looking back at what you have gone through over the past year of CS, do you think this move was overdue and how the situation with u5 and TSG before that changed your perception of being involved with eSports?

cBz - Playing with both TSG and u5 has made me a better player and a better friend and this definately wasn't something overdue. We basically took the issues as they came and made the best decision for all of us.

Charlie, do you think looking back, that the TSG/u5 merge was a mistake and if you had it all over would you do it again?

cBz - Both tsg and u5 were great teams and if I were to be faced with the same decision under the same circumstance I would do it all again. I would not trade the experiences and adversities we have faced together as a team and as roommates for anything.

So Kyle, what is Charlie's future in 3D, can we expect to see him and the rest of 3D at say, CPL Spain?

World renowned Kyle
Ksharp - Charlie will be part of what is now a 6 man rotation. We wanted 6 people because with the world tour coming up and people having school and other things that prevent them from attending some of the stops it is almost necessary to have at least 6 members just to ensure that we can field a team of 5 to each stop.

Fortunately, we have 5 that can attend Spain already and so we will most likely be sticking with the original 5 that have been practicing for it, but I'm pretty sure Charlie will be coming along to bond with the team and become even more comfortable with our play styles individually and as a team.

Charlie, it has to be hard to leave Hare and the whole situation you had at u5; what has it been like living together and would you encourage other teams to do the same in the future?

cBz - Hare has been an inspiration and I have learned a lot from him and value him as a friend and as a teammate. We have had a blast living together sharing laughs and good times over the past 6 months and yes I would encourage other teams to experience it and view things from a different perspective.

Kyle, we know that 3D is starting to really gear up for the World Tour, with Charlie now involved when does the team start getting ready for CS:Source?

Ksharp - As soon as the game becomes suitable for competition. I think it's way too buggy in its current state and it feels like an unfinished game. Hopefully there will be more 1.6 tournaments or source will vastly improve in the next few months because I just can't see playing it right now.

Charlie, playing with Kyle has been a long time dream of your CS career, tell me what it's like to finally get the chance with not only him, but the rest of 3D?

cBz - Yes, playing with Kyle and the gang has always been something that I've thought about especially considering that I started cs in 1.4, I knew I'd have to make leaps and bounds to get where I wanted to go. All the 3D guys are class act guys and I look forward to giving them everything I have to get more wins!

Kyle, there's some rumors that possibly either Steel and/or Moto maybe taking a step back even possibly retiring, any truth to that?

Ksharp - Yes, steel is no longer going to be playing cs for the team, but he will still be involved with the multimedia and promotional side of 3D. He's an amazing player and we had a great run with him.

Kyle, you have been playing with Rambo for over three years now, how will cbz's involvement in the team be different the past additions and give me some thoughts on all those players coming and going? Favorite? Least Favorite?

Ksharp - When we picked up boms we won WCG USA and placed 2nd at WCG in korea. After picking up volcano we won WCG USA for the 3rd time and won 1st place at WCG. So far our track record has been pretty good when adding new members and I have faith that Charlie can help the team in the same way.
