CAL
CPL
DAR
In selected important matches for CAL, Ksharp’s damage per round is pretty consistent with the lowest being 74.9 and the highest being 112.2. The average DAR of the selected CAL matches is 85.6.
At the CPL, his damage per round is slightly lower with the lowest
being 57.1 and the highest being 94.8. Averaged out, his score in the
selected CPL matches is 79.5. There is definitely a very small difference
between online and LAN play.
FPR and ARF
Following the constant trend, Ksharp’s frag per round average is lower in CAL matches than at the CPL. The average FPR in CAL matches was .8068 and in the CPL was .7532.
In ARF terms, it illustrates the same difference that online and LAN
statistics for FPR showed. There is about a .5 difference in favor
of CAL play compared to the CPL.
Once again, the CPL performance is
slightly less impressive compared to online CAL play just like with
fRoD. The difference is very small, but it is definitely consistently
visible.
2F, 3F, 4F
Ksharp’s multi-kill rounds were impressive in both events. He was actually very consistent both online and offline. He actually had more two-frag rounds at the CPL than in CAL, but he had more three-frag rounds in CAL. His amount of four-fraggers was identical with both having one total.
DIE Match Comparision
At long last there is a great matchup that can be compared as 3D played
against DIE. As a well-known team that is no longer with us, DIE played
at both the CPL and in CAL. The interesting part about this matchup
is that DIE won at the CPL (16-11) and 3D won online (22-8). Was Ksharp’s performance sub-par in the CPL match or was there another factor?
Ksharp’s damage per round was 77.1 in CAL and 57.1 at the CPL versus DIE. This is a very noticeable difference because that much of a damage difference can mean a lot in a round and over the course of the match. The amounts of rounds played were very similar so the all frags scored in the match can be analyzed. Ksharp only made 14 in the CPL matchup as opposed to a decent 23 online.
As the FPR indicates, the player statistically only made a frag every
other round of the match during the CPL with a .519 ratio. The ARF
makes his performance look even less stellar as it indicates that Ksharp
only made frags in 33.3% of the rounds that were played. Comparing
this with the .767 FPR and 60% ARF, there is noticeable difference.
Finally, his multi-kill rounds were not drastically different. With
three two-frag rounds at the CPL and five in CAL, there’s a small difference, but he makes up for it with a three-frag round at the CPL. Overall, Ksharp’s performance in this particular match was lacking at the CPL whereas he played well-enough in the CAL matchup. If his performance at the CPL matched his CAL statistics, its quite possible that 3D would have beaten DIE.
