Donna "bag_lady" Antonijevic gives us a run down on the surprises and failures of the Women CS 1.6 tournament in CPL Spain, as well as the final scores. ![]() By Donna "bag_lady" Antonijevic As Sunday came and went, the E-Life women’s Counter-Strike 1.6 Tournament saw EIBO take the championship title. Blazing through the event with an undefeated record, EIBO managed to beat both North American favorites CheckSix Divas and Girls Got Game, as well as European favorites Catz and Les Seules in the finals. Les Seules lost in the first round to France’s Beat off the Best but went on to overtake each opponent in the losers bracket and fight their into the finals. As expected, the competition’s top three teams were Catz, EIBO, and Les Seules. Honorable mentions go to Beat off the Best, Passive, and WAYLAY. Congratulations to all teams in attendance. The Women’s E-Life CS Tournament gives teams and spectators alike an indication of the type of competition and events which are likely to occur at the Electronic World Sports’ Female Masters Cup in July. "They should be able to take 1st of 2nd unless they have to face up to EIBO or Catz. I will give Catz enough credit to insist that they may provide GX3 with some competition"
