Everyone at the Combine made the word Online laughable. Cal-O teams would wreck these kids using these strats, a good lobby hold strat would've 9-0ed JMC T side of nuke in this match, not that they would've cared...I mean they say:
"Jax said Dolven's really into us if we win"
"We need to start giving them rounds"
Josh (OWNZOR): "I just want to win, guys"
and then all 5 of them rush ramp room to lobby with no nades. LAWL. THERE'S A WINNING STRAT. I wonder how much I can pay these kids to throw some matches during the season so I can win my bet with my friend that coL is going to go undefeated. Very professional guys, keep it up.
2nd pick: Jason Lake - Los Angeles
3rd pick: Alex Conroy - Dallas
4th pick: Dave Geffon - New York
5th pick: Brian Flander - Chicago
6th pick: Mark Dolven - Carolina
Like I said in your other threads you posted about jmc throwing the match..
Hello mcfly! Look at the draft order. In our country #1 is the first pick and #6 would be the last pick. Yes, the #6 is a higher number then the #1 so you would assume that he picks first but here we go with the lowest number picking first. Understand?
Watch the demo and be quiet please.
I'm a Complexity, X6, and Forbidden fan. JMC and 3D both have mediocre team work and use shot making ability as a crutch, just like Pandemic, and EG. coL is going to stomp all of them this season. Won't even be very close.
Don't even bring up the Combine. Watch the demos and see that most of the teams that knew they were getting drafted weren't even taking it that seriously.
"O they call it swamp, No onder thats called swamp they call it that two" -hanes
"... yes :(" - josh
"You guys want to just win it?"
"Nah nah, guys let's just lose"
And then they all rush out of hut and die like a cal-o pug team. You can't seriously contend that they didn't throw the match.
The bigger issue here is that CGS setup the Combine so that it was to some teams' advantage to throw matches. Several teams went into that Combine with everything to lose and nothing to win. I don't see how an objective person can take anything that happened there seriously or at face value.
They were trying to throw it that whole time, without having to blatantly not shoot people they saw. The fact that they got that many rounds off 3D should be embaressing for 3D, they need a lobby hold strat for when teams are pushing them every single round like that. Theirs failed miserably because they don't use Source flashes well enough or cover each other enough, and they needed a third person in squeaky or radio. Maybe they just didn't care either since they knew they were being drafted.
