#5, #6 what are you talking about? The gameplay is a LOT better than the normal 1.6 gameplay. A lot faster paced, more fun to watch, amazing shots being made and on-the-fly decisions being made.

how can source be fast paced? the models look so slowwwwww and the amazing shots being made are people spraying ankles and getting 3 headshots at a time

Y do u bother wasting your time going to a source demos page and posting about how bad source is, if 1.6 is so much better then you wouldnt feel the need to waste your time posting here would you? You prefer 1.6 we get it now go to a 1.6 demos page and post away.

#17 it is a fact that the run speed is slower in source.

This seems faster because CGS rules give only like 1:25 per round

If you watched 1.6 CGI matches like 3D vs coL it was just as fast.

To make it more interesting you can always fiddle with some options and listen to what the teams are saying over voip

Both games are equally fun to watch from an educated viewer's standpoint. The skill and decision making ability of the pros is easy to appreciate in either game, if you know what to look for, and even if you don't you'll still be impressed by their pure shot making ability. Source is just more aesthetically pleasing.

- The only competition 3D has in source is coL. (another 1.6 team)
- the source community is very small compared to the 1.6 community.
