I think CGS should start deciding DOA matches overtime matches by who gets the first hit, for PGR, it should be who gets off the best at the line, and for CS it should be whoever buys first, obviously this 1-round OT is taking too much time out of the game. Actually, how about they don't even play halves, and just flip a coin for sides and play 1 round. This way they can always prevent OT and the winner always wins 1-0. Unless somehow a grenade kills the last two people at the same time, but thats unlikely.

#2 for president... cgs needs change their dumb ot rule next season

just have 1 ot round each side, if it ends in a draw then so be it. You have other games to decide the winner. And if cs is the tie breaker for the total score, just play 1 round each side until some1 wins both halves. At least THAT would build some intense drama.

Overtime should remain 1 point, but should be played as 2 3-round halves. Whoever wins in overtime gets one point added to their score making it 10-9.

the only problem with having two halves, is the possibility of multiple ots and thats not what they want

if you don't put two halves, then the matter of equality and level play comes into question
if its only one half and you happen to have the advantaged side on the map you're playing after regulation then ur sitting pretty aren't u.

how do they pick teams? if it's b/c of coin toss (im not quite sure O_o) then the winning team knows that by picking ct, in case of overtime, they will start T and vice versa...

just my opinion. something tells me i'm gonna get flamed like a mcgriddle O_o

that round where 3D dropped the bomb and no one picked it up was costly...it shouldn't have been so close if it weren't for that round....stupid mistake...that PRO's shouldn't make in a important game!

Yeah long time =) Almost miss the SoF2 years...broke my CD's in half when I was drunk so I cant play it for fun either :(
