3D has never been unbeatable, they have been garbage the last four years.

coL has won more in CS: Source then any other American team since they started playing it (Two Seasons of CEVO-P, Digital Life 2006 and 2007, Newegg LANfest 2007, CGS CS: Source Individual Championship, etc...). They were the second best CS: Source team in North America after 6 months of playing the game in 2006.

Calling 3d a good team with Lin and Rectooor is pretty funny

If that's the case, then why were PUG's and CAL teams getting rolled up at Newegg LANfest 24-0, 23-1, etc...?

And don't give me that coL and 3D ran CS 1.6 garbage. 3D was on it's way out before the CGS came along and scooped them up off of the ground. coL simply wanted guaranteed money, and that is exactly what they got.

I don't think the other teams are lacking talent, but Source definately evened up the playing field a LOT. The Core couldn't touch either team in 1.6, but they obviously have the teamwork and coordination to do great in source.

#9 has it, get rid of Lin and Rector and bring back Dominator & Shag, wont happen but Dom & Shag> Lin & Rector.

yea as a by stander I would rather see 3D do better then coL, but its a fact that coL has dominated the US scene and the world scene more then 3D has done in the past 2 or 3 years.

just because coL / core whoever performs better in source than 3D doesnt mean that they are a bad team, but shows the fact that some players cannot adapt the change from 1.6 to source or cannot perform as well as they can in source as in 1.6. There are many little different attributes that affect the play style of certain players including recoil difference/ movement difference etc.

As we have seen, frod was a huge AWPer in 1.6 and now that his playing source, none the less his still crazy with the AWP. (imo even better than b4) However i havent seen method perform to his peak in source. No doubt about it, Mikey So is a legend in 1.6, but is just not the same in this game.

Like many of yous have stated, 3D is certainly a more "1.6 team" than it is a source team. Hopefully we can see 3DNY improve and personally i want to see method own like he used to. =D
