Weapons Cache originally released in 2002 AA v1.2.1 was an instant hit in both the public server and match playing community. The designation CE stands for Competition Edition and where the spawns and map dynamics have been tweaked to allow for greater variation in strategy, and require the higher level of teamwork that match play demands.
Both the original and second edition of Weapons Cache released by the development team require an assault team to secure all of the objectives to win. This has been changed in the CE version to require only one of two to win for assault. The other changes are placement of a computer on the second floor as an objective, and the addition to the northern hallway from Weapons Cache SE, no spawns have been changed. |
